Welcome to one of DC’s most distinctive group retreats — a beautifully restored 5-bedroom rowhouse with a panoramic rooftop deck in the heart of the capital. Whether you’re here for a milestone celebration, a government visit, a family reunion, or a weekend exploring the Smithsonian, this spacious home sleeps up to 14 and delivers the comfort and style your group deserves. Historic character, modern amenities, and a rooftop that’ll be the highlight of your trip.
Step inside a thoughtfully restored DC rowhouse where century-old charm meets modern luxury. Spread across four floors, the home features five well-appointed bedrooms — four with queen beds and one with two queens — plus a sofa bed in the living room, comfortably sleeping up to 14 guests.
Every bedroom is outfitted with memory foam mattresses and premium linens. The bathrooms offer spa-like finishes to help you unwind after a day on the Mall. The open living areas flow naturally from a fully equipped kitchen — dishwasher, oven, stove, coffee maker, and everything you need — to a stylish living room with Smart TVs and ultra-fast Verizon FIOS.
The crown jewel is the rooftop deck: a sweeping panoramic view of the DC skyline that’s stunning day or night, and unforgettable at sunset. A private balcony and backyard round out the outdoor spaces. In-unit washer/dryer, central AC, and smart lock self-check-in make the logistics effortless.
You’ll have full, private access to the entire townhouse — all five floors, the rooftop deck, balcony, backyard, and patio. Self-check-in via smart lock means you can arrive on your schedule. For guests driving in, we provide Washington DC reciprocity parking permits — a rare and valuable perk in the city.
We’re a remote-friendly hosting operation — you’ll have the whole place to yourselves with complete privacy from check-in to checkout. Everything you need to get settled is handled through the smart lock and a digital welcome guide. We’re highly responsive by message if anything comes up, but we won’t be dropping by. Think of us as available in the background — there when you need us, invisible when you don’t.
A few things to know: this is a no-smoking, no-parties property — we’re in a residential neighborhood and we respect our neighbors. Pets are welcome. The property sits next to a historic cemetery, which guests consistently describe as peaceful and quiet (see our reviews!). Short-term stays are warmly welcomed.
The Rhode Island Ave Metro station (Red Line) is an 8–10 minute walk from the front door, connecting you directly to downtown DC, Union Station, and beyond. For everything else, Uber and Lyft are readily available in the neighborhood with consistently fast pickup times. A Capital Bikeshare station is nearby for a scenic ride along the Metropolitan Branch Trail into Brookland, NoMa, or Union Market. If you’re driving, street parking is plentiful and we provide DC reciprocity parking permits for out-of-state guests.
Situated in the quiet, residential Stronghold/Eckington neighborhood, you’re well-positioned to explore all of DC. The Rhode Island Ave Metro (Red Line) is nearby for easy access to downtown, the National Mall, and Union Station. Brookland’s thriving restaurant and brewery scene is minutes away, and Union Market — one of DC’s best food and shopping destinations — is a short drive. When you’re ready to hit the monuments, museums, and landmarks, you’re perfectly placed to do it.
